The gunman in Monday’s mass shooting in Midtown had bottles of antipsychotic medication in his Las Vegas studio apartment, police said after executing a search warrant.

Police said Shane Tamura, 27,

Officials said a suicide note found in Tamura’s wallet blamed his mental health struggles on chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a brain disease linked to repeated head trauma and often associated with professional football players.

Authorities said they found a second suicide note, numerous rounds of ammunition and a tripod for the rifle used in the shooting inside Tamura's apartment.

Investigators also found several prescription drug bottles, including an anti-inflammatory, an anti-epileptic drug and an antipsychotic medication. Police did not identify the specific drugs.

Police said the rifle used in the shooting was sold to Tamura by his supervisor at the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas.
