Active crime scene after shooting at West Sacramento park, police
West Sacramento police say there is an active scene at a park after a shooting that happened Wednesday afternoon.A spokesperson for the police department said officers responded to Summerfield Park sometime around 2 p.m. for a report of shots fired.As of 2:35 p.m., the spokesperson said there is no information on whether anyone was injured or if anyone has been taken into custody. Officers have closed off Linden Road where the park is while they investigate the shooting, which they are calling an active crime scene.This is a developing story.
