An investigation is underway after five people were shot, one fatally, in the Manchester Square neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Sunday at Manchester and Normandie avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police say the victims, all men, were waiting for food when a car drove by and someone inside fired several rounds.
They were taken to the hospital, where one of the men later died.
The suspects were last seen driving westbound on Manchester but a description was not available. Police could not say whether the shooting was gang-related.
