4 shot at party in Sacramento’s Natomas neighborhood on Halloween, officials say
Four people were wounded in a shooting at a house party in the Natomas neighborhood of Sacramento on Halloween, officials said.Sacramento police said officers responded just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday to the 3300 block of Paumanok Way for reports of a shooting.Responding officers found two victims at the scene who each suffered at least one gunshot wound. A third victim was found in the 3200 block of Arena Boulevard with at least one gunshot wound. Police said they received another call from a hospital about a shooting victim who had walked in for treatment. The four victims are adults who are expected to survive, police said. There was no information on possible suspects. Sacramento Councilmember Lisa Kaplan described the shooting as having taken place at an "illegal party" attended by more than 100 people.
