
Four inmates were injured in a riot at California State Prison, Sacramento, on Monday, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Officials said the riot happened in the Folsom facility around 10 a.m. and involved around 20 incarcerated individuals. CDCR said the prison staff used chemical agents, warning shots and non-lethal weapons to "restore order."Officials said the four incarcerated persons hurt were taken to outside medical facilities for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No staff members were hurt.Four improvised weapons were recovered after the riot, CDCR said.
