The 31-year-old man accused of ramming into a Bellevue police cruiser and injuring an officer was held on bond during a court appearance Wednesday.Johnathon Burnham is charged with multiple offenses, including willful reckless driving and attempted assault on a law enforcement officer with a motor vehicle.Previous coverage: Bellevue police officer hurt after suspect rams into cruiserBellevue police responded to the Baker's Supermarket off S. Galvin Road on Monday. A store employee told police that Johnathon Burnham was suspected of stealing alcohol.Investigators said Burnham tried to drive away, reversed and rammed into a police cruiser. The officer went to the hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.Police said Burnham led officers on a chase into Omaha and back into Bellevue. Police executed a vehicle containment maneuver that ended the chase at Lincoln Road and Saint Andrews Road.Burnham received bond set at 10% of $100,000.
