22-year-old man shot and killed following fight in central Fresno identified

The man who was shot and killed in central Fresno has been identified as 22-year-old Jordan Abuchon.

Police were called out to reports of a fight at an apartment complex in the area of Ninth Street and Olive at 3 am Saturday.

Authorities say the fight broke out after everyone was told to leave a party inside one of the units.

Abuchon was involved, and police say shots were fired when a 33-year-old tried breaking it up.

Both Abuchon and the 33-year-old were shot.

Abuchon was declared dead at the scene. The 33-year-old was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and has since been released.

No arrests have been made.
