2 workers shot by angry customer at discount store in Jamaica, Queens
Two workers at a discount store in Queens were shot by an angry customer.
The workers were on the job at Great Savings on Jamaica Avenue on Saturday when they got into an argument with the suspect just after 5 p.m.
Police say the suspect left the store but returned and opened fire.
A 34-year-old worker was shot in the chest and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 55-year-old worker was struck in the leg and is in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing gray sweatpants and a green sweater.
No arrests have been made.
