2 women found dead inside Walnut Creek home as police investigate double homicide
Police in Walnut Creek are investigating a double homicide after they say the bodies of two women were found inside a home late Thursday night.
Police say this double homicide happened on Kelobra Ct. near Perada Dr. around 11:45 p.m., but there is no threat to the public.
Officers found two women dead, but police are not currently releasing details on how they died.
Walnut Creek Police Lt. Scott Moorhouse said they did find several other family members at the scene, including one adult and two young children. He said the adult is being interviewed by detectives, according to police.
"I wanted to share for our residents, there is no threat," Lt Moorhouse said. "I know it's concerning to see a police presence in a nice, quiet neighborhood like in Walnut Creek, but please be assured to my friends in the community, you're safe, your Walnut Creek Police Department is thoroughly investigating this matter and we'll work diligently to resolve this case."
