Two teenagers are in custody in connection with an online threat involving a firearm made toward Nevada Union High School, officials said Wednesday.The Nevada County Sheriff's Office said a school resource officer with the agency learned about the threat after school administrative staff received a report from a concerned parent. Deputies and detectives later identified two 17-year-old teenagers and arrested them.One of the teens is a boy who attends Nevada Union High and is facing charges of criminal threats and conspiracy to commit a crime, the sheriff's office said. The other teen was a girl who is not a student at the school. She faces conspiracy to commit a crime.The threat prompted a law enforcement response on the campus. Details were not released on whether investigators found the teens to have any weapons in possession.See news happening?
