19-year-old shot and killed in Tulare County identified
The person who was shot and killed in Tulare County over the weekend has been identified as 19-year-old Marcus Mendoza.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office was called to Kaweah Health Medical Center in Visalia on Sunday for someone who was dropped off with a gunshot wound.
Mendoza ultimately died at the hospital.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Action News previously reported the shooting victim was a woman. The Tulare County Sheriff's Office later shared that the victim identified as a man.
Authorities say they discovered 37-year-old Joseph Morales dropped Mendoza off at the hospital, and he has now been named a person of interest.
At this time, deputies believe the shooting was accidental, saying the two were friends.
Deputies say that Morales has not cooperated with the investigation, even getting combative.
He was arrested for vandalism, assault on a law enforcement officer and for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and a controlled substance.
