1700-block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive shooting in Chicago injures man near South Loop: police department says
A man was shot on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near the South Loop on Friday night, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the 1700-block of South Lake Shore Drive around 10:15 p.m.
A 30-year-old man was inside a vehicle when a gunman in a silver SUV shot at him, police said.
The victim, shot in the knee, was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.

The suspect fled the scene. There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
