A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the May shooting death of another 15-year-old boy in south Sacramento, police said. The teen was taken into custody on Thursday night. (Previous coverage in the video above.)On May 27, officers with the Sacramento Police Department were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. to reports of the shooting in the 100 block of Coral Gables Court near Meadowview Road. Upon arrival, police found the 15-year-old with at least one gunshot wound and rendered first aid, the police department said. The teenager, who was later identified as Julius Shawn Marcel Chaney, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. There have been 28 homicides within Sacramento city limits so far this year, according to police.
