11-year-old child shot in Suisun City, police say
An 11-year-old child was shot in Suisun City on Tuesday, the police department said.Officials said there is a heavy police presence in the area of Whispering Bay Lane as investigators work to learn more about the shooting. Crystal Middle School is off of Whispering Bay Lane, but officials have not said if the school was involved or part of the crime scene.Suisun City police said the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their condition is unknown.While few immediate details about the shooting were available, the police department said the situation was "stable" and that there was no ongoing threat to the community.
