Deputies responding to a ShotSpotter activation in south Sacramento found several buildings struck by gunfire on Wednesday night, according to the sheriff's office. They were found at the shooting scene and were taken to an area hospital for shortness of breath. ShotSpotter is a system used to detect gunshots in a given area.
