1 found dead, 2 others in unknown condition after shooting at Lakewood home
One person was found dead and two others were in unknown condition after a shooting Thursday morning at a home in Lakewood, authorities said.
The shooting occurred shortly before 8 a.m. in a residential neighborhood near the intersection of Lorelei Avenue and South Street, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
Deputies and firefighter-paramedics responded to the scene, and the sheriff's spokesperson confirmed that one person was killed in the incident. The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, paramedics entered the home at 8:07 a.m. and cleared the scene less than an hour later.
A Fire Department spokesperson confirmed only that three patients were found at the location, adding that no one was transported to a hospital.
Authorities did not release any information about a possible suspect in the case.
