1 arrested for shooting at northeast Fresno house party that injured 4, police say

Police have a suspect in custody in connection to a quadruple shooting at a northeast Fresno party.

They are still looking for one more suspect.

On Wednesday, authorities took Marshaun Bass into custody following a weeks-long investigation.

The shooting took place in the early-morning hours of August 3.

Initially, police were alerted to a home on Ashcroft and Ninth for a loud noise complaint.

Just a few hours later, gunshots rang out, leaving three people injured at the scene.

A fourth gunshot victim would later arrive at the hospital.

During the investigation, police also identified Joseph Johnson as a second suspect in the shooting.

Authorities are now asking for the public's help with information on his whereabouts.
