Reported shooting at City Hall SEPTA station under investigation

Philadelphia police are investigating a reported shooting at the City Hall SEPTA station.

Police say a cashier reported hearing a gunshot at about 7:30 a.m. on the northbound platform.

One person has been taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.

There has been no word on any arrests or suspects in this shooting.

Trains are bypassing the station in both directions while police investigate.
